Returns & Refund Policy

[US domestic orders] Since The Carlin a hair accessory, please understand that refund is only available for new & unused unit for hygienic reasons. Since we have no control over how The Carlin is used, our policy lasts 30 days from date of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please review below and contact us first before shipping back items so we can check your eligibility for refund and provide return instructions. 

  • For hygienic reason, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received in order for it to be eligible for a refund. For hygienic reasons, no refund will be provided for used items.
  • Please return the item in the original packaging. S&H fee is not refundable. If you receive free S&H, S&H fee of $5.75 will be deducted from your refund amount.
  • There are certain situations where only partial refund is granted (if applicable): Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • All denied returns/used items or returns received after 30 days will be donated to charity.
  • Use of Promotion Code & Sales Items: All sales are final for discounted items including items, which were purchased using discounting promotion code.

[International orders] Due to high shipping cost, we do not offer returns for international orders at this time.

      Defect & Exchanges:
      We only replace/exchange items if they are defective within 30 days from purchase. If you believe you received a defected item, please contact us right away so we can resolve any issues. 

      Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

      Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
      If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
      Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at

      If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and confirmed unused, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
